Dear Secret Santa...you're quite fabulous!

Guess what I got in the mail yesterday?! My cute little ornament from my Secret Santa!

After a long and very stressful day yesterday, I was happily surprised to find a cute white envelope in my mailbox! Lisa from Three Lady Bugs Like to Play was my secret santa!

How amazingly crafty is she?! Thank you Lisa, I love it! Isn't the lady bug adorable? If you have yet to meet Lisa hop over to her blog. She has the most beautiful family! I'm now a loyal reader Lisa. :)

I can't wait till my person gets her surprise ornament from me, which hopefully will be soon! Anyone else participate in Micaela's Ornament Exchange?! :)

Happy Wednesday!

Santa, hold on. Can I talk to you for a second?

Remember how I told you that I'm ALWAYS behind on Christmas?

Finalized any Holiday plans? Christmas shopping? Christmas decorating? Hasn't happened. But I have played Christmas music and enjoyed a cup of hot cocoa - does that count?

Hopefully this weekend we'll finally start to do all of the above! I'm adding Christmas movies to my Netflix list!

Wanna know a secret? I don't like A Christmas Story. Am I the only one? Everyone seems to love it! I find it rather boring. Elf is kind of my favorite. haha

and of course... Home Alone - it's a classic!

What's your favorite Christmas movie?!

Hello Tuesday...

Can you please turn into Thursday? I'd very much appreciate it!

This week hasn't been going very well for me, so I'm aching for this weekend! The good thing? Thursday marks the end of this week for me! Apologizes for lagging on the posts! I don't know how you super bloggers do it?!

Stress is not fun! One thing I do love?

The December 2009 Italian Vogue.

It's Twitter-inspired. ha!

New posts and comments to come! ;)

December Glee...

How do you like the new look on my blog?! I'm still trying to figure out HTML formatting and  how not to cut off the "contact" button on top. But I'll worry about it later because today is FRIDAY!

Aside from the weekend excitement is the fact that my sister will be having her USC ceremony tomorrow! She's going to be a Physicians Assistant and we're all so proud of her! Woooo-hooo Trojans! Hey -- I gotta represent! ;)

Everyone is off doing great big things and it's inspiring. Sometimes I wish I had it all figured out. But I guess that's the beauty of life. This unknown adventure...

I'll leave you with a cute graphic I found in one of my desktop folders...it's a long one, but the quotes are so true!

  Have a great weekend!

Smitten...

With all things Christmas.

I have always wanted a pink tree, but somehow I don't think my fiancé would approve...

Cute DIY decorations are a big hit for me! That's why I love Martha Stewart!

Check out her DIY ornament idea! You can fill the plastic balls with fun things like beads, glitter, etc and tie a ribbon around each and ta-da! ["Fillable" balls, from $1 each, sunshinecrafts.com]

Getting crafty with the stockings is such a fun and easy idea!

Or even creating your own wreath...

Gotta love the purse-shaped gift wrapping!

Not so crafty? I like putting on Christmas music and dancing with the fiance - it's just as fun!

You know what warms you up on a cold day?

Great Mexican food!

One of my very favorite places has to be Chronic Taco. Have you been? If not, you gotta try it! The tacos are huge and so flavorful. I'm limiting all my red meat, but the tacos al pastor are the best there. They add pineapple to contrast the spicy meat - it's mouth-watering. They also have chicken, lobster and fish tacos that are equally tasty! It's a must-try on my list.

How amazing is this sauce?! haha

Happy Wednesday!

Time to break out in dance!

Because it's officially DECEMBER.

Now I feel like I can officially play Christmas music, buy our first Christmas tree for our apartment, make holiday plans and start Christmas shopping...aka stress overload! Oh you betcha!

How was your holiday weekend?! My mini-vacation was very indulgent in ever sense. Ready for a mega detox this week, but heck - what are holidays for anyway?!

My weekend consisted of family time, great food, movies, games, an ocean view, relaxation and delicious junk food...

Hope your Turkey day was extra tasty!

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?! Need ideas? Rachel Zoe has her Christmas Gift Guide up featuring 20 items for under $100.
